Are you tired of feeling stressed each time you go for a walk with your dog?

Does your high drive dog drag you around like a boisterous maniac?

Is your big dog lunging and over reacting?

Do you have a rescue dog who is a challenge?

If you answered yes to any of the above questions then I feel your pain!!!

My name is Kara Wight and I am the founder of For The Love Of Paws. I understand what it is like to deal with these issues.

It is never easy living with a dog who is reacting at triggers. Never mind a big dog who reacts.

Now that can be a challenge!!

High drive dogs can be difficult to live with in the pet world. They can often be misunderstood.

Their behaviour can be a challenge and often they require the correct guidance to channel that energy.

Rescue dogs are such amazing gifts however they can come with many issues. They can be unsure of novel items, or scared of the touch of hands or perhaps require time to build bonds with you.

We have been there with our own rescue dogs, we have walked in your shoes and we understand what you are going through. We also know how to help.

We are here to support committed owners who are ready to make the change to their dogs behaviour.

We can help your reactive or high drive dog become more focused on you and less focused on the outside world. We can help them be less fearful of their triggers. We can help make your life more enjoyable with your dog. We can help you understand why your big pawed friend is acting this way.

We have helped dogs become less fearful, more calmer, more settled, more confident and less anxious.

We can help channel your dogs natural drive helping them become less reactive and less aroused.

We can help build your relationship and help grow your bond with your dog.

Group Class Training

"Kara’s training with my 1 year old dog was amazing, she is such a calming influence and took us right back to basics were by dog would sit and listen, was calm  and responsive to all I wanted her to do. Her training is great and builds really good foundation blocks for the owner to continue with.  Kara is a really good investment for a happy and well trained dog, I would highly recommend her". B.
